Dubai Fountain Reopens
The iconic Dubai Fountain, a centrepiece of Downtown Dubai and an international tourist magnet, has officially reopened on October 1 after undergoing extensive redevelopment and modernisation.
The announcement concludes months of anticipation following the Fountain’s closure on April 19 for major upgrades.
The much-loved attraction, located beside Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall, is set to return bigger and better. Emaar, the developer behind the project, has confirmed that the refurbishment included advanced robotics, next-generation lighting and sound technology, and a newly engineered lakebed to enhance the overall performance and the visitor experience.
Visitors can look forward to the daily shows:
- 1pm & 1:30pm (Weekdays)
- 2pm & 2:30pm (Fridays)
- Every 30 minutes from 6pm to 11pm
Along with:
- Dramatically upgraded features, with synchronised water, light and music displays.
- Enhanced viewing experiences thanks to improved promenade lighting and a modernised lake foundation.
- Intelligent fountain systems, ensuring more interactive and customised performances than ever before.
The Dubai Fountain has drawn millions with its 140m-high water jets and captivating choreography, making its relaunch a major event for the city’s hospitality and tourism sectors. The all-new performances, combining technology with artistry, are set to make headlines across the globe.
